Am I covered by OHIP?
OHIP covers appointments for the following groups:
Children (19 years and younger): covers one major eye exam every 12 months
Diabetics and those with other specific eye conditions: covers one major eye exam every 12 months
Seniors (65 years and older): covers one major eye exam once every 18 months
* a valid healthcard must be presented for an exam to be covered by OHIP (photos are not accepted)
* appointments covered by OHIP are billed directly and come at no cost to the patient (unless additional testing is requested)

No, we do not bill insurance companies directly. A receipt will be provided and billing can be done independently by the patient.

We accept cash, debit, and credit for all payments.

What should I bring to my appointment?
What should I bring to my appointment?
In order to ensure that appointments run smoothly, we request that you bring your current glasses, your health card, a list of the medications you take, and a pair of sunglasses in case your pupils need to be dilated. We also recommend that patients come in wearing their glasses rather than contact lenses.
