Our comprehensive eye exam includes a vision check, an eye pressure test, an updated prescription, and other tests to measure ocular wellness. The examination also includes standard retinal imaging. We recommend that adults have their eyes examined by an optometrist once every two years to update prescriptions and check for symptoms of eye disease. Those who have specific vision concerns should also book a comprehensive eye exam. In order to ensure that appointments run smoothly, we request that you bring your current glasses, your health card, a list of the medications you take, and a pair of sunglasses in case your pupils need to be dilated. We also recommend that patients come in wearing their glasses rather than contact lenses.
Adult (20-64) Eye Exams:

An OCT scan takes an image of the retinal layers, providing a detailed cross-section of the retina. This allows for the detection and monitoring of eye diseases in their early stages, preventing such conditions from worsening. This test is recommended for those with a family history of diseases affecting the optic nerve and the macular region, such as glaucoma or macular degeneration.
Optos Peripheral Retinal Imaging:
An Optos scan provides a panoramic view of the entire retina, allowing for early detection of eye disease. This test is recommended for those who are especially nearsighted, have symptoms of retinal detachment/tearing, or have diseases affecting the peripheral retina.
Optical Biometer AL-Scan M:
The Optical Biometer AL-Scan is used for Myopia control management.
